Both inside and outside the Court process, Steve has happily represented hundreds of clients. Steve has made appearances in the Supreme Court of British Columbia, Alberta Provincial Court, and Alberta Court of Queen’s Bench. As well, he has taken part in numerous Private and Judicial mediations.

Steve has put forth papers on personal injury law and not long ago lectured at the University of Calgary Medical School in the Resident program on medical malpractice issues. He is licensed to practice in North West Territories, Nova Scotia, Yukon, and Alberta.

Steve belongs to various organizations, including the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia, Calgary Bar Association, Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association, the Law Society of Yukon, and the Canadian Bar Association. Steve is also a member of Traumatic Brain Injury Litigation Section of the American Association for Justice, the America Association for Justice (formerly the American Trial Lawyers Association), and the chairperson for the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys (ATAA) and Two Wheel Sunday (held annually on the first Sunday of each June).

Outside of work, Steve avidly rides his motorcycle. He also enjoys going to the movies, mountain-biking, and travelling.
